Support Workers - West Rural Service (Stewartry)

£8.75 per hour
Crossroads Caring Scotland is the leading voluntary sector provider of support for carers and their families. Established as a charity in Scotland in 1978 we have 19 managed services helping people live independently at home.
We are nationally recognised for our quality of care and delivery across a wide variety of client groups.
We are looking to recruit Support Workers at our Stewartry Service which covers Dalbeattie, Castle Douglas, Kirkcudbright and surrounding areas. If you are caring and compassionate with a variety of life skills and experience and enjoy working directly with people, then this could be a great opportunity to join our highly respected team.
Experience is preferred but not essential as basic and enhanced training is provided, as well as opportunities to work towards vocational qualifications.
A driving licence and use of a car is essential. The ability to work flexibly is essential.
Successful candidates will be required to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for Adults/Children, the cost of which will be met by Crossroads.
