Crossroads Caring Scotland provides care and support to enable people to remain in their own home. Established as a charity in Scotland in 1978 we have 19 managed services.
We are nationally recognised for our quality of care and delivery across a wide variety of client groups.
We are looking to recruit Support Workers at our Lothians Service. If you are caring and compassionate with a variety of life skills and experience and enjoy working directly with people, then this could be a great opportunity to join our highly respected team.
Experience is preferred but not essential as mandatory and enhanced training is provided, as well as opportunities to work towards vocational qualifications.
A driving licence and use of a car is desirable. The ability to work flexibly is essential.
Successful candidates will be required to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for Adults/Children. If you are already a PVG Scheme member you will be asked to obtain a PVG Scheme Update. Crossroads will pay the fee at the time of your application and you will be asked to reimburse the fee within the first few months of your employment.
