Service Manager – Invernesshire and Lochaber
35 hours per week
£28,928 – £31,116 per annum
Crossroads Caring Scotland provides care and support to enable people to remain in their own home. Established as a charity in Scotland in 1978, we have services across Scotland and pride ourselves in the support we provide each other as a team and our not-for-profit ethos.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team and require a Service Manager to lead our Invernesshire and Lochaber services to deliver high quality services. The postholder may be based in our Fort William or Elgin office. A commitment to continuous improvement of service delivery is essential as is the ability to build positive working relationships with funders and other partners. Working closely with the Area Manager, the Service Manager will be responsible for identifying the needs of Service Users and developing initiatives to meet these needs.
A SVQ Social Services and Healthcare SCQF level 9 or equivalent qualification recognised by the SSSC is essential. In addition a SVQ Care Services Leadership and Management SCQF 10 is desirable. The successful candidate will have experience of leading and managing others in delivering quality services. The ability to identify, plan and monitor performance improvement is desirable. A driving licence is essential for this post.
The successful candidate will be required to participate in the management on call rota, for which an additional payment is made.
