Crossroads Caring Scotland is the leading voluntary sector provider of support for carers and their families. Established as a charity in Scotland in 1978 we have 20 managed services helping people live independently at home.
We are nationally recognised for our quality of care and delivery across a wide variety of client groups.
We are seeking Support Workers to join our team in supporting a 28 year old female to live independently with 24/7 support in the South Lanarkshire area. Tasks include assistance with all aspects of daily living, including personal care; escorting her to various appointments and day care.
If you are caring and compassionate with a variety of life skills and experience and enjoy working directly with people, then this could be a great opportunity to join our highly respected team.
Experience is preferred but not essential as basic and enhanced training is provided, as well as opportunities to work towards vocational qualifications.
A driving licence and use of a car is essential. Working weekends and sleepovers are an essential part of the shift pattern.
Successful candidates will be required to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for Adults, the cost of which will be met by Crossroads.
