Service Co-ordinator – Invernesshire
£18 812 - £20 360 pro rata per annum (30 hours)
Crossroads Caring Scotland is the leading voluntary sector provider of support for carers and their families. Established as a charity in Scotland in 1978 we have 22 managed services helping people live independently at home.
We are seeking to appoint a Service Co-ordinator to assist teams in delivering a quality service in our Invernesshire service which covers the Moray, Nairn and Ross & Cromarty areas. The post holder will be based in our Elgin Service. Working closely with the Service Manager, the Service Co-ordinator will assist with the day to day co-ordination of the service, in accordance with, service specifications, all legal requirements and the national Codes of Practice for Social Care Workers and Employers.
An SVQ III in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification recognised by the SSSC is essential or working towards the qualification. The successful candidate will have experience of delivering care, assessment, care planning and review. Experience of supervising a team in a social care setting or similar setting is desirable. A driving licence is essential for this post.
The successful candidate will be required to participate in the service on call rota, for which an additional payment is made.
