Service Manager - West Rural Services

£27,035 - £29,446 per annum
Crossroads Caring Scotland is the leading voluntary sector provider of support for carers and their families. Established as a charity in Scotland in 1978 we have 19 managed services helping people live independently at home.
We are seeking to appoint a Service Manager to lead our teams in Mid & Upper Nithsdale and Stewartry and surrounding areas in delivering a quality service. A commitment to continuous improvement of service delivery is essential as is the ability to build positive working relationships with funders and other partners. Working closely with the Operational Director, the Service Manager will be responsible for identifying care needs and developing initiatives to meet these needs.
An SVQ 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification recognised by the SSSC is essential or working towards the qualification. The successful candidate will have experience of leading and managing others in delivering quality services. The ability to identify, plan and monitor performance improvement is desirable. A driving licence is essential for this post.
The successful candidate will be required to participate in the service on call rota, for which an additional payment is made.
